This target is a reported synonym of the ZKSCAN8 gene, which encodes zinc finger with KRAB and SCAN domains 8. The human version of LD5-1 has a canonical amino acid length of 578 residues and a protein mass of 65.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified.
