Anti-LEU2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target LEU2 is a known alias name of the protein CD8 subunit alpha, encoded by the CD8A gene in humans. This 235-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in adaptive immune responses and receptor-mediated signaling pathways, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features O-glycosylated, palmitoylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the spleen, skin, lymph node, bone marrow, and appendix. Indicated applications for LEU2 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
