Anti-LAMP4 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the LAMP4 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CD68 gene, which encodes CD68 molecule. This protein is known to function in pathways of aging and the cellular response to lipopolysaccharides, among other biological roles. The human version of LAMP4 has a canonical amino acid length of 354 residues and a protein mass of 37.4 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the lysosomes and cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebellum and endometrium. Other names for this target antigen include GP110 and SCARD1. A number of LAMP4 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Flow Cytometry is a widely used application for these antibodies. Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
