Anti-METTL24 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein methyltransferase like 24. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 366 amino acid residues and a mass of 41.3 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. A member of the Methyltransferase protein superfamily, METTL24 is a suspected methyltransferase. Synonyms for this target antigen include UPF0624 protein C6orf186, methyltransferase-like protein 24, and probable methyltransferase-like protein 24. METTL24 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the METTL24 antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
