Anti-MCSC2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MCSC2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SLC25A23 gene, which encodes solute carrier family 25 member 23. This protein is reported to be an electroneutral antiporter that mediates the transport of adenine nucleotides through the inner mitochondrial membrane. The human version of MCSC2 has a canonical amino acid length of 468 residues and a protein mass of 52.4 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the caudate, tonsil, and breast. MCSC2 is a member of the Mitochondrial carrier (TC 2.A.29) protein family. Indicated applications for MCSC2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
