Anti-IOPPP antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The IOPPP antigen is another term for the human protein inorganic pyrophosphatase 1, encoded by the PPA1 gene. The protein is known to function in metabolic processes, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 289 residues and a mass of 32.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm and it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The IOPPP protein is a member of the PPase protein family. Other alias names for IOPPP include HEL-S-66p and PP. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for IOPPP antibodies.
