Anti-IMB1 Antibody Products

Anti-IMB1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The IMB1 antigen is another term for the human protein karyopherin subunit beta 1, encoded by the KPNB1 gene. The protein is reported to function in nuclear protein import, either in association with an adapter protein, like an importin-alpha subunit, which binds to nuclear localization signals (NLS) in cargo substrates, or by acting as autonomous nuclear transport receptor. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 876 residues and a mass of 97.2 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The IMB1 protein is a member of the Importin beta protein family. Other alias names for IMB1 include IPO1 and IPOB. Western Blot is the most common application for the IMB1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
