Anti-HSP70-4 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HSP70-4 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the HSPA14 gene, which encodes heat shock protein family A (Hsp70) member 14. This protein is a known component of the ribosome-associated complex (RAC), a complex involved in folding or maintaining nascent polypeptides in a folding-competent state. The human version of HSP70-4 has a canonical amino acid length of 509 residues and a protein mass of 54.8 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include HSP70L1 and MSANTD7.
