Anti-JAL antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the JAL antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CREB3L4 gene, which encodes cAMP responsive element binding protein 3 like 4. This protein is known to function in the regulation of transcription and spermatogenesis, among other biological roles. The human version of JAL has a canonical amino acid length of 395 residues and a protein mass of 43.4 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER and Golgi of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. JAL is a member of the BZIP protein family. Western Blot is the most common application for the JAL antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
