Anti-HSDJ antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HSDJ is a known alias name of the protein DnaJ heat shock protein family (Hsp40) member A1, encoded by the DNAJA1 gene in humans. This 397-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the regulation of apoptosis and protein folding, among other biological processes. It is localized to the membrane, nucleus, mitochondria, and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for HSDJ include DJ-2, DjA1, and HDJ2. Western Blot is the most common application for the HSDJ antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
