Anti-HSB1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HSB1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SH3KBP1 gene, which encodes SH3 domain containing kinase binding protein 1. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and cell migration, among other biological roles. The human version of HSB1 has a canonical amino acid length of 665 residues and a protein mass of 73.1 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the skin, placenta, lymph node, bone marrow, and appendix.
