Anti-HIP8 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HIP8 is a known alias name of the protein MAGE family member A3, encoded by the MAGEA3 gene in humans. This 314-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in autophagy pathways and the regulation of apoptosis, among other biological processes. Other synonyms for HIP8 include CT1.3 and HYPD.
