Anti-HC5 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HC5 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PSMB1 gene, which encodes proteasome 20S subunit beta 1. This protein is reported to be a non-catalytic component of the 20S core proteasome complex involved in the proteolytic degradation of most intracellular proteins. The human version of HC5 has a canonical amino acid length of 241 residues and a protein mass of 26.5 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. HC5 is a member of the Peptidase T1B protein family. Indicated applications for HC5 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
