Anti-Itil antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Itil is a known alias name of the protein alpha-1-microglobulin/bikunin precursor, encoded by the AMBP gene in humans. This 352-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cell adhesion, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane, nucleus, extracellular matrix, mitochondria, ER, cytoplasm, and is secreted of the cell and features O-glycosylated, N-glycosylated and cleaved post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for Itil include A1M, A1M, and EDC1. Western Blot is the most common application for the Itil antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
