Anti-IFB antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target IFB is a known alias name of the protein interferon beta 1, encoded by the IFNB1 gene in humans. This 187-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in adaptive immune responses and B cell differentiation, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for IFB include IFF and IFN-beta. Western Blot is the most common application for the IFB antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
