Anti-hAPT1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the hAPT1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the LYPLA1 gene, which encodes lysophospholipase 1. This protein is known to function in fatty acid metabolism, among other biological roles. The human version of hAPT1 has a canonical amino acid length of 230 residues and a protein mass of 24.7 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane, nucleus, ER, and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the colon and duodenum.
