Anti-IDA antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The IDA antigen is another term for the human protein alpha-L-iduronidase, encoded by the IDUA gene. The protein is known to function in metabolic processes, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 653 residues and a mass of 72.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the lysosomes and it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The IDA protein is a member of the Glycosyl hydrolase 39 protein family. Other alias names for IDA include MPS1. ELISA and Western Blot are common applications for IDA antibodies.
