Anti-HuF2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HuF2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TTF2 gene, which encodes transcription termination factor 2. This protein is known to function in DNA repair and mRNA processing, among other biological roles. The human version of HuF2 has a canonical amino acid length of 1162 residues and a protein mass of 129.6 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include F2 and ZGRF6. Indicated applications for HuF2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
