Anti-IFT25 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein intraflagellar transport 25. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 144 amino acid residues and a mass of 16.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell projections. It is notably expressed in the placenta. A member of the IFT25 protein family, IFT25 is a known component of the IFT complex B required for sonic hedgehog/SHH signaling. Synonyms for this target antigen include CFAP232, FAP232, HSPB11, HSPCO34, PP25, and C1orf41.
