Anti-HMP70 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HMP70 is a known alias name of the protein transmembrane 9 superfamily member 1, encoded by the TM9SF1 gene in humans. This 606-amino acid residue protein is known to play an important role in autophagy. It is localized to the cytoplasmic vesicles and lysosomes of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the lung, pancreas, kidney, liver, placenta, skeletal muscle, heart and brain. Indicated applications for HMP70 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
