Anti-hHa1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target hHa1 is a known alias name of the protein keratin 31, encoded by the KRT31 gene in humans. This 416-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in epidermis development and epithelial cell differentiation, among other biological processes. It is reported to be expressed in the hair.
