Anti-GTAP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the GTAP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the UBE2Q1 gene, which encodes ubiquitin conjugating enzyme E2 Q1. This protein is known to function in protein ubiquitination, among other biological roles. The human version of GTAP has a canonical amino acid length of 422 residues and a protein mass of 46.1 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebellum and prostate. GTAP is a member of the Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme protein family. Indicated applications for GTAP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
