Anti-Ha-3II antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Ha-3II is a known alias name of the protein keratin 33B, encoded by the KRT33B gene in humans. This 404-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in pathways of aging and epithelial cell differentiation, among other biological processes. It is reported to be expressed in the hair.
