Anti-G1P1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target G1P1 is a known alias name of the protein adenosine deaminase RNA specific, encoded by the ADAR gene in humans. This 1226-amino acid residue protein is known to catalyze the hydrolytic deamination of adenosine to inosine in double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) referred to as A-to-I RNA editing. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features sumoylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for G1P1 include ADAR1, ADAR1, and AGS6. Indicated applications for G1P1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
