Anti-FIB1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The FIB1 antigen is another term for the human protein dachsous cadherin-related 1, encoded by the DCHS1 gene. The protein is known to function in cell adhesion, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 3298 residues and a mass of 346.2 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is reported to be expressed in fibroblasts but not in melanocytes or keratinocytes. Other alias names for FIB1 include CDH19, CDH25, and CDHR6. Western Blot is a widely used application for the FIB1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
