Anti-DHHC9 antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene ZDHHC9, or 'zinc finger DHHC-type containing 9' in humans. The 364-amino acid protein is a member of the DHHC palmitoyltransferase family, ERF2/ZDHHC9 subfamily.
