Anti-EV1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target EV1 is a known alias name of the protein transmembrane channel like 6, encoded by the TMC6 gene in humans. This 805-amino acid residue protein is a suspected ion channel. It is localized to the ER of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the placenta, prostate, testis, activated T-lymphocytes and lymphokine-activated killer (LAK) lymphocytes. Other synonyms for EV1 include EVER1 and EVIN1. Indicated applications for EV1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
