Anti-DRS1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target DRS1 is a known alias name of the protein enoyl-CoA delta isomerase 2, encoded by the ECI2 gene in humans. This 394-amino acid residue protein is a member of the Enoyl-CoA hydratase/isomerase protein family. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the heart, skeletal muscle and liver.
