Anti-CYBL antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CYBL antigen is another term for the human protein succinate dehydrogenase complex subunit C, encoded by the SDHC gene. The protein is reported to be a membrane-anchoring subunit of succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) that is involved in complex II of the mitochondrial electron transport chain and is responsible for transferring electrons from succinate to ubiquinone (coenzyme Q). Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 169 residues and a mass of 18.6 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria. The CYBL protein is a member of the Cytochrome b560 protein family. Other alias names for CYBL include CYB560 and PGL3.
