Anti-CMS antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CMS is a known alias name of the protein CD2 associated protein, encoded by the CD2AP gene in humans. This 639-amino acid residue protein is suggested to act as an adapter protein between membrane proteins and the actin cytoskeleton. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is found to be widely expressed in fetal and adult tissues. Indicated applications for CMS antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
