Anti-CAMEL antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CAMEL antigen is another term for the human protein cancer/testis antigen 2, encoded by the CTAG2 gene. The protein is known to function in metabolic processes, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 210 residues and a mass of 21.1 kilodaltons. It is expressed in the testis. The CAMEL protein is a member of the CTAG/PCC1 protein family. Other alias names for CAMEL include CT2. Indicated applications for CAMEL antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
