Anti-COD2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the COD2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the COG6 gene, which encodes component of oligomeric golgi complex 6. This protein is known to function in Golgi organization and protein transport, among other biological roles. The human version of COD2 has a canonical amino acid length of 657 residues and a protein mass of 73.3 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi and membrane of cells. COD2 is a member of the COG6 protein family.
