Anti-CMT4B1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CMT4B1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MTMR2 gene, which encodes myotubularin related protein 2. This protein is known to function in neuronal development, among other biological roles. The human version of CMT4B1 has a canonical amino acid length of 643 residues and a protein mass of 73.4 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the breast and bronchus. This target antigen may also be known as CMT4B. Indicated applications for CMT4B1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
