Anti-CHMP1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CHMP1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CHMP1A gene, which encodes charged multivesicular body protein 1A. This protein is known to function in autophagy pathways and cell division, among other biological roles. The human version of CHMP1 has a canonical amino acid length of 196 residues and a protein mass of 21.7 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm of cells. This target antigen may also be known as PCH8. Indicated applications for CHMP1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
