Anti-CDw338 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CDw338 antigen is another term for the human protein ATP binding cassette subfamily G member 2 (Junior blood group), encoded by the ABCG2 gene. The protein is known to function in the metabolism of lipids and the transport of ions, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 655 residues and a mass of 72.3 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria and cell membrane and it is reported to be highly expressed in the placenta. The CDw338 protein is a member of the ABCG protein family. Other alias names for CDw338 include ABC15, ABCP, and BCRP. A number of CDw338 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations.
