Anti-C6ST1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the C6ST1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CHST3 gene, which encodes carbohydrate sulfotransferase 3. This protein is known to function in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis, among other biological roles. The human version of C6ST1 has a canonical amino acid length of 479 residues and a protein mass of 54.7 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the placenta and soft tissue. Other names for this target antigen include C6ST and HSD. Indicated applications for C6ST1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
