Anti-ASRT1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ASRT1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PTGDR gene, which encodes prostaglandin D2 receptor. This protein is known to function in GPCR signaling pathways and inflammatory response pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of ASRT1 has a canonical amino acid length of 359 residues and a protein mass of 40.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the small intestine, rectum, duodenum, colon, and appendix. Other names for this target antigen include AS1 and DP. Indicated applications for ASRT1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
