Anti-EAP2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target EAP2 is a known alias name of the protein exosome component 8, encoded by the EXOSC8 gene in humans. This 276-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a non-catalytic component of the RNA exosome complex which has 3'->5' exoribonuclease activity and participates in a multitude of cellular RNA processing and degradation events. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. Indicated applications for EAP2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
