Anti-CT55 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cancer/testis antigen 55. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 264 amino acid residues and a mass of 29.1 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. Synonyms for this target antigen include CXorf48, SPGFX7, cancer/testis antigen 55, BRCA2-interacting protein, tumor antigen BJ-HCC-20, and BJHCC20A. CT55 gene orthologs have been reported in the bovine species. Western Blot is the most common application for the CT55 antibodies listed below. Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
