Anti-BTZ antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target BTZ is a known alias name of the protein CASC3 exon junction complex subunit, encoded by the CASC3 gene in humans. This 703-amino acid residue protein is said to be required for pre-mRNA splicing as component of the spliceosome. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types. The term MLN51 is another synonym for BTZ. Indicated applications for BTZ antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
