Anti-DEAD-box helicase 6 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene DDX6 in humans. The gene may also be known as HLR2, me31B, P54, RCK, probable ATP-dependent RNA helicase DDX6, and ATP-dependent RNA helicase p54. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 54.4 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
