Anti-Cavin 1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Cavin 1 antigen is another term for the human protein caveolae associated protein 1, encoded by the CAVIN1 gene. The protein is known to play an important role in caveolae formation and organization. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 390 residues and a mass of 43.5 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane, nucleus, mitochondria, ER, and cytoplasm and it is expressed in many tissues, such as in adipose tissue and breast. The Cavin 1 protein is a member of the CAVIN protein family. Indicated applications for Cavin 1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
