Anti-C17 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the C17 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CRCP gene, which encodes CGRP receptor component. This protein is known to function in innate immune responses, among other biological roles. The human version of C17 has a canonical amino acid length of 148 residues and a protein mass of 16.9 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cell membrane of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as CGRP-RCP. Indicated applications for C17 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
