Anti-G7 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target G7 is a known alias name of the protein mutS homolog 5, encoded by the MSH5 gene in humans. This 834-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in DNA mismatch repair and meiotic recombination processes. In terms of tissue expression, it is found to be widely expressed, with high levels in testis and ovary, including granulosa cells. Indicated applications for G7 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
