Anti-FUBP antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target FUBP is a known alias name of the protein far upstream element binding protein 1, encoded by the FUBP1 gene in humans. This 644-amino acid residue protein is reported to regulate MYC expression by binding to a single-stranded far-upstream element (FUSE) upstream of the MYC promoter. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for FUBP include FBP and hDH V. These FUBP antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
