Anti-CAZ1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CAZ1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CAPZA1 gene, which encodes capping actin protein of muscle Z-line subunit alpha 1. This protein is known to function in cytoskeleton organization and the assembly of protein complexes, among other biological roles. The human version of CAZ1 has a canonical amino acid length of 286 residues and a protein mass of 32.9 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include CAPPA1 and CAPZ. Western Blot is the most common application for the CAZ1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
