Anti-FCRIIIb antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The FCRIIIb antigen is another term for the human protein Fc gamma receptor IIIb, encoded by the FCGR3B gene. The protein is a known receptor for the Fc region of immunoglobulins gamma. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 233 residues and a mass of 26.2 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and is secreted. It is noted to be expressed specifically by polymorphonuclear leukocytes (neutrophils). Other alias names for FCRIIIb include CD16, CD16-I, and CD16A. These FCRIIIb antibodies are widely used in Flow Cytometry experiments, among other applications.
