Anti-EFSEC antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the EFSEC antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the EEFSEC gene, which encodes eukaryotic elongation factor, selenocysteine-tRNA specific. The human version of EFSEC has a canonical amino acid length of 596 residues and a protein mass of 65.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the epididymis, tonsil, and duodenum. EFSEC is a member of the Classic translation factor GTPase protein family. Indicated applications for EFSEC antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
