Anti-EDA1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target EDA1 is a known alias name of the protein ectodysplasin A, encoded by the EDA gene in humans. This 391-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the Wnt signaling pathway and cell differentiation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane and is secreted of the cell and features N-glycosylated post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for EDA1 include ECTD1, ED1, and ED1-A1. Some EDA1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
