Anti-DPDE1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the DPDE1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PDE4C gene, which encodes phosphodiesterase 4C. This protein is known to function in signal transduction pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of DPDE1 has a canonical amino acid length of 712 residues and a protein mass of 79.9 kilodaltons, although 7 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell projections of cells and notably expressed in the hippocampus, endometrium, cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and caudate.
